Puget Sound Birth Center

13128 Totem Lake Blvd NE

Suite 101

Kirkland, WA 98034

Puget Sound Birth Center is a place where birth matters and is a magical experience that strengthens parents, babies, and the bond between them. The midwives at Puget Sound Birth Center promote the Midwives Model of Care, meaning all care is patient-focused, individualized, and with minimal interventions. Care is evidence-based, with the goal of educating women and their families to empower them to make the best decisions for their families.

Midwives at Puget Sound Birth Center believe that there should be plenty of time to ask questions, conduct visits in the comfort of birth suites, provide culturally-sensitive care, provide services for low-risk pregnancies, conduct a regular risk assessment, run prenatal blood tests, provide referrals as needed, and be accessible 24/7. Midwives promote skin-to-skin contact after birth, delayed cord clamping, early breastfeeding, and large beds that accommodate the whole family.
