Yep! Kristan with an A. I am a lover of all things monochromatic, earthy tones, flowing dresses, and kids that run around being themselves.
I have been photographing professionally for over 10 years but have been into photography since I can remember. I was graciously gifted my dads Olympus film camera when I was a child and nothing was spared from being photographed. From the neighborhood cats and dogs, to macros of every leaf and blade of grass I could find. I love timeless photos that you can look back on for years to come and go back to that moment in time. I am a mixture of getting the posed shots with everyone looking at the camera, to the candid shots of laughing, tickling, and being in the moment, even if sometimes it feels chaotic!
Every session is unique and beautiful in their own way. It is your story that I get to capture and make time stand still forever in a picture. My absolute favorite thing about photography is following a families journey from maternity, newborn and beyond! I consider you part of my family and love watching your kids and family pups grow over the years. Ok ok and my other favorite is unicorns, but who doesn't love unicorns?!

Kristan has taken my kids pictures for a few years and I haven’t been dissatisfied yet! She is so patient and captures the perfect moments, even if my kids are not cooperating!
